Mushroom and Rice
Prep Time: 30 minutes Yield: 1 to 2 servings
- 1 garlic clove
- half carton of mushrooms
- 1/2 teaspoon of butter
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- salt, pepper, garlic salt to taste
- 1 1/2 cup rice
- You can add in green onion if you like.
Preparation:
Cut up garlic. Place olive oil, garlic, butter in the sauce pan then add your mushrooms (and onions) to sauté. Add teriyaki sauce and red wine vinegar, salt, pepper. Once your mushrooms are sauté to you liking add rice, chicken broth and water. Cover and cook until your rice is the consistence you like.
